LINKS UPDATE - TERM 3 NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2015
4th GRADE: We are underway for Term 3 and have been busy inquiring into different ways to organize for decision making. Students have reviewed basic geometric shapes and created a virtual dictionary. They are extending their learning by investigating the properties of circles and 3D shapes. They will use what they have learned to organize and create a "Geometry Town".
5th GRADE: In 5th grade, students have been investigating different ways that innovation and migration are key factors in shaping our world. They have been learning about the impact of the Transcontinentaly Railroad on the expansion of the US. They also have inquired into the experiences and contributions of Chinese immigrants during the 18th century. They will use what they learned about innovation and immigration to create a model for a memorial to the Chinese immigrants.
